I think i have diabetes…….?

Im a female, 15 years old and for a few years now ive had a dark brown ring around my neck, also black on my thighs and on my armpits. I exercise everyday and earlier this year took a mile running regime. i also trampoline daily and love eating fruits/vegetables. Recently i have been eating alot more than usual, but found myself not full, also on certain occasions not everyday but i find myself overly thirsty. I have been snapping and been quite mean to friends and co-workers that i usually get along quite well with, and ive been sleeping alot more then usual. Ive also been experiencing a little bit of blurriness and have decided to go to my opticians. i was wondering if anyone could shed light on this situation. Thankyou.

But you never thought to go to doctor for blood draw testing? That is the first thing you should do. It does not matter how active you are or how well you think you are eating.

Now, go get that doctor’s appointment as soon as possible so you can first off, set your mind at rest, and secondly you can start treatment if necessary as soon as possible. You have classic signs.

you could be exercising alot more & losing calories more than u’re getting so that’s why ur body is telling u to eat more & drink more to compensate the loss of fluids..u could be tired from all the hard work u’re doing & not eating well can make u irritable do u go to the bathroom more than usual & urinate alot more than u usually do..??u should visit a doc & have a complete blood picture u could be anaemic have a fasting blood glucose & plasma glucuos leve if u are suspecting duab.but ask ur doctor to have a check up

You certainly seem to be suffering some of the symptoms associated with Diabetes. Go see your GP is the answer. Don’t try and diagnose yourself.

Honestly, i don’t know alot about diabetes myself but i have two close friends with it and one family member, so i know how important it is to get checked out for it.
If you think you have it then make an appointment with your doctor, i think they take a urine sample and a blood test, and run tests on them samples.
even if its not diabetes, it could be something else and you’ll be glad you found it sooner rather than leaving it to get worse or carrying on without the medication and information needed.
and if nothings wrong you’ll just be glad to know :)
But it does sound like ur having alot of symptoms.

possibly, avoid sugar, especially soda and fruit juice. eat small balanced meals at regular times. get a glucose meter and check your blood sugar. a doctor might give you one. check on your arm.

It wouldn’t hurt to have your blood tested. You have a couple of indications of high blood sugar. But you could also be suffering from lack of protein. See your doctor soon.
