If you are a meat eater and dairy eater, yes it is worth the money.Cows fed grass are 100% less fattier than the typical grain fed cows.Animals coming from factory farms can have up to 30 times the amount of saturated fat.Cholesterol level also differs slightly. If you cut out dairy alone I'm sure that can help.Add more veggies to your diet, one can of green beans has only 70 calories(estimate),so adding veggies to your meal can help yopu cut back on calories.Losing weight is rather simple, cut calories, that's it,there is no hollywood weight loss secret.Adding excercise to your diet can only benefit you also, just find,no,MAKE the time to add some exercise.
References :
Organic foods are important to weight loss and your overall health, because you reduce the toxic load in your body when you eat these foods.

Every day we are bombarded by pollutants in our air, water and environment (that would include chemicals in synthetic and petrochemical based beauty products, if you use them). Even if you lived in an ideal world, there are also the internal pollutants of stress as well!

When we eat conventional foods, we are often adding to our bodies burden, as our organs need to additionally process out harmful pesticides, hormones, parasites and more. When the body cannot handle anymore toxicity...it packages it up very nicely in a fat cell and stores it aside to deal with later. Later can be quite a long time in coming!

When you address body toxicity, you tackle the root cause of weight gain.

I recommend eating organic and/or locally grown foods as much as possible. Just as important though is what kind of organic foods you eat and portioning. There are many foods labeled organic, that are really just junk food without the pesticides, so read your labels, and go for whole, unprocessed food over prepackaged stuff in boxes, bags or cans.
References :
Life experience as well as work at:

Read the book "Fast Food Nation" & see the movie "Super Size Me" - real eye openers on conventional food!

I eat organic foods due to having PCOS and not able to lose wt very easily. Organic is worth the money in my opinion and of course is healthier due to it not being treated with pesticides etc and going through processing that introduces more chemicals. Most organic foods are lower in sodium (salt) which is very helpful for wt loss due to retention of water wt. Try it for a little while it won't hurt you and if you don't like it than you don't have to stick with it.
